Tender places respected

We reduce or redirect pressure where an area feels particularly sensitive.

No diluted appointment

Your time stays centred on the upper body rather than general coverage.

Attention where upper-body tension gathers

The neck, upper shoulders and base of the head can feel like one connected area, especially after long periods of sitting, travelling or concentrating. We begin by asking where the tightness feels strongest and whether any places are tender to touch. Using pressure, kneading and smaller focused movements, we work carefully across the areas you want us to address. We don't assume both sides need the same intensity, and we adjust around sensitive points. Adding head massage can create a broader treatment that follows the tension upwards rather than stopping at the shoulders.

A focused alternative to full-body work

When your upper body is the clear priority, a targeted appointment keeps the available time from being spread too widely. Thirty minutes can give us useful space to work across the neck and shoulders, with head massage included when requested. An hour allows a slower pace or more time around connected areas. We discuss comfort and positioning before we begin, particularly if movement feels limited. Our Paddington treatment room provides a prepared setting, while home and hotel visits may suit you when travelling after the appointment would feel inconvenient.

Frequently asked questions

Can we include the head in the same treatment?

Yes. Tell us when booking if you'd like us to include the scalp and areas around the head. We can then plan the available time across your neck, shoulders and head according to your priorities.

Can we choose different pressure for the neck and shoulders?

Yes. The neck may need a gentler touch than the upper shoulders, so we adjust by area. Please tell us about tenderness or restricted movement and give feedback whenever the pressure needs to change.

When is a focused appointment more suitable?

Choose focused work when your neck and shoulders matter more than general body coverage. It lets us use the appointment on connected upper-body areas rather than giving each one only brief attention.
