Traditional techniques adapted for you

Thai-led experience

Our therapists bring their Thai background to this classic treatment style.

Movement within your range

We adapt positions and stretches to the flexibility available on the day.

Whole-body attention

A connected sequence can cover more than one isolated area of stiffness.

A structured and active whole-body approach

Traditional Thai massage combines measured pressure, compression and assisted stretches in a connected sequence across the body. We use changing positions and purposeful movements, adapting each part to the flexibility you have rather than expecting you to reach a set shape. This can appeal when you want an invigorating treatment that gives attention to general stiffness and whole-body movement. Our therapists came from Thailand, giving the classic approach a relevant personal foundation. Even so, we don't assume one routine suits everyone. We ask about mobility, sensitive areas and your preferred intensity before the treatment begins.

Prepare for easy, unrestricted movement

Comfortable clothing helps you get more from this active treatment. We suggest soft, flexible items that allow your arms, hips and legs to move without pulling or restriction. During the appointment, we may ask you to change position so we can apply pressure or guide a stretch safely and comfortably. You remain part of that conversation, and you can ask us to shorten a movement, ease the pressure or avoid an area. A one-hour appointment allows a broader traditional sequence, while 30 minutes is better suited to selected priorities in our Paddington treatment room.

Frequently asked questions

Do we stay clothed for traditional Thai massage?

Yes, traditional Thai massage is normally carried out through comfortable clothing. We suggest flexible garments that allow free movement and avoid hard fastenings that may press into the body during different positions.

Do we need to be flexible before booking?

No. We work with the movement you have and adapt each assisted stretch. Please tell us about restrictions or sensitive areas before we begin so we can choose a suitable range and pace.

Is traditional Thai massage relaxing or energising?

Many people choose it for its active, invigorating character, though the steady rhythm can also feel grounding. We can adjust the pace and intensity, but it remains more movement-led than a gentle oil massage.
